Hey gal pals--
It's 1 in the morning and I cannot sleep.
Just wanted to say that I love you.
Life is beautiful. Especially when you have someone lovely to share it with.
McKay is the best kid I know and I'm the luckiest girl to have him.
I think being a woman is amazing. Look at all the stuff we can do. We can make humans for goodness sakes.
Does Jessie even read this blog? Seems like she hasn't posted at all.
Documentaries are great, but they always sway my opinions in their direction..is that a good thing? For example, I watched a documentary on natural child birth at home and how awesome it is. This made me want to give birth naturally in my home, but isn't that exactly what they want me to believe? I'll still watch documentaries anyway.
I love my parents more than anything
Camille and Jessie-thank you for coming to the show. It really meant a lot to me that you both were there. Really.
I'm so lucky to have great friends.
I'm getting really lazy at school. All I want to do in my life right now is:
1. date mckay
2. read lots of nice books
3. sew & sew
4. live by an ocean
5. make people happy
I really loved Hawaii. It broke my heart when I had to leave
I think making lists are my thing. Sort of like how this blog entry is like a list. It's mostly because I have a million things going on in my head and writing them down in complete paragraphs seems boring and tedious and long. So I make lists
baby hedgehogs. look them up on google images. you will not be sorry
This blog post was originally supposed to be really short.
Cool :)
Love,
Emi.
Oh Emi! I love you! List blog entries are my favorite way to blog! short and sweet ideas all running through my head all in one post! so great! I love you and miss you and feel like I haven't seen you in ages. We should do something about that. and watch step up 3. I still haven't seen it and really really want to.
ReplyDeleteHahaha. This is so great. I got on here to post something today. I haven't been on blogger for a couple weeks. I'm feeling disenchanted by the internet these days. And about the documentaries; Watch some that go against what you think you believe and see if they still convince you. I think if it convinces you in a peaceful way that's saying something. Plus, natural birthing is awesome. I've entertained ideas of being a mid-wife. I want to have my kids all natural, probably at my home with a mid-wife. You're great. You engaged yet? :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy for you and McKay!!
ReplyDeleteI wish i could come to your gigs. I NEVER know when they are, especially since I don't have a Facebook now.
I'm actually off school this semester. It's been great! I haven't stopped since high school. LOVE IT! :) my mind is so relaxed (besides work stress).
LOVE YOU EMI!!
Becca: I love you too. I still haven't watched step up 3 because I'm waiting until I see it with you. Remember when we went to Step Up 2 in theaters? Maybe Jo was there, idk. I think we went and saw it twice though. lolzies.
ReplyDeleteJessie: I was first against natural child birth. I thought, what if babies have problems when they're born and they die because they're not in a hospital? Plus it hurts and it's 'weird'. But this documentary made me not so closed minded. And it's fun because it's an interesting topic to converse about with others. Documentaries are awesome that way. I watched 3 on Friday!
You all should watch The Secret. It'll change your life. It's on netflix.com
I'm not engaged...yet ;)
Jalene: We have a house show this Friday, 2/24 @ Camille's house in Logan. It'll probably be around 7. We also have one on April 21 in Logan at a place called Why Sound. also probably starting around 7.
You all should come!
Love, EMi
